A Modern Twist on Thai Tradition

Located in the bustling Westfield Hamburg, SABAI DEE MAI offers a unique dining concept that blends authentic Thai Tapas with a chic, modern bar experience. The client envisioned a space that was not just a restaurant, but a sensory journey—combining the warmth of Thai hospitality with a cool, urban European vibe. They needed a partner who could handle the complexity of this "Indochine-Industrial" design, from the intricate joinery to the bespoke furniture. RON GROUP stepped in to provide a complete End-to-End Solution, taking the project from initial design concepts to final manufacturing and installation.

The Challenge: Precision in Customization

The design for SABAI DEE MAI was ambitious. It featured complex layouts and unique furniture pieces that couldn't be bought off the shelf.

• Complex Geometries: The floor plan required large, curved booth seating that needed to fit perfectly within specific architectural zones.

• Material Mix: The concept called for a sophisticated blend of textures—plush velvet, cold marble, warm wood, and industrial mesh screens. Balancing these materials while ensuring durability for a high-traffic mall location was critical.

• Atmosphere Creation: Lighting played a huge role. The challenge was to manufacture custom lighting fixtures (like birdcage pendants) that matched the moodiness of the renderings.

Our Solution: Design & Realization

From Rendering to Reality

We utilized our Design & Realization expertise to execute the interior fit-out. As seen in the project photos, the transition from the digital draft to the physical space is seamless. The dramatic bar counter, with its vertical textured paneling and integrated lighting, became the centerpiece of the restaurant, exactly as planned.

Bespoke Furniture & Product Solutions

To achieve the unique "Modern Thai" look, standard furniture wouldn't suffice. We manufactured custom pieces tailored to the restaurant's brand identity. We crafted deep-blue, channel-tufted velvet booths that curve elegantly to create intimate dining pockets. We also produced unique "Birdcage" high-back chairs that serve as Instagram-worthy focal points.

   

Factory Precision & Quality Control

The success of this project relied heavily on our in-house manufacturing capabilities. Our "Factory & Production Process" ensures that every millimeter is accounted for before shipping. As shown in our factory logs, every booth and joinery piece was pre-assembled in our facility.

SABAI DEE MAI has successfully opened its doors to rave reviews, becoming a standout location in Westfield Hamburg. The space feels both exotic and contemporary, perfectly supporting the client's business model of high-end Tapas and cocktails.
